There are many unique types of homes in Long Lake:

  • Single Family Homes (approx 2000-2500 sq ft)

  • Single Family Homes (approx 2500-3200 sq ft)

Some single family homes have basements, too!

Our neighborhood offers a variety of home sites for the prospective homeowner.  There are interior lots with an open feel, lake front properties, homes that are very convenient to the nearby grocery store, lots that back up to protected natural areas, and home sites in higher elevations that have a beautiful view of the lower elevations.  With these combinations and the variety of home types, you are sure to find the perfect home in Long Lake!

Dues

Homeowner dues pay for the cost of running and maintaining the common areas in the neighborhood (street lights, club house, pool, landscaping, etc).  Town home dues include those dues plus dues for yard maintenance (watering, cutting and edging the grass).  Currently the dues are:

  • Long Lake monthly dues are $65

  • The Townes of Long Lake monthly dues are $60 (or $125 /mo total with Master Association dues)

  • Dues are payable by check or autopayment

 

Documents and Restrictive Covenants

Long Lake has a set of restrictive covenants that apply to any homeowner of any lot in the neighborhood.  The following documents may help you with your purchase of a property in Long Lake.

 

Convenience

Long Lake is in a fantastic part of North West Raleigh.  It's off the flight paths, but close to everything.  Within 10 minutes are: 2 movie theaters, 6 grocery stores, countless restaurants, an indoor mall, Umstead State Park, county libraries, and 3 Home Improvement Stores.  A city park opens soon on nearby Strickland Road, and a Community Center is set to open soon with a library and park on Country Trail near Leesville Rd.  You'll never want to leave when you get used to the easy commute and close proximity to everything else you and your family could want to do!
